Dr Lorella Pelagalli
Senior Consultant Palliative

 A Senior Consultant in Palliative and Intensive Care. Dr. Lorella, obtained her Doctor’s degree (Medicine & Surgery), with full marks, from Sapienza University of Rome followed by Specialization in Anesthesiology and Intensive Care, Specialization in Infectious Diseases and Master’s degree in Acupuncture in Oncology. Dr. Lorella is a Certified Teaching Professor Sapienza at Sapienza University Medicine and Psychology School, Certified Visiting Professor at the University of Rome Campus Biomedico and a Guest speaker in National and local convention, dealing with anesthesia, pain therapy, critically ill patients care, infectious diseases, antimicrobial stewardship.

Prior to joining SQCCCRC, Dr. Lorella served at Regina Elena National Comprehensive Cancer Center in Rome, as Chief of Pain Therapy and Palliative Care Department managing the daily and strategic activities including a platform for telemedicine for Pain management in the hospital and associated outpatient centers.

She is specialized in helping patients manage symptoms that may arise from their treatments, including pain, fatigue, insomnia, hot flashes, anxiety, and depression also with complementary medicine. Dr. Lorella is a member of international Medical Societies including OECI (Organization of European Cancer Center) Supportive Care Group, ESICM, Pain Therapy Commission – PDTA and Networks Area – at the Medical Association of Rome, IASP, AISD.
