Sultan Qaboos Comprehensive Cancer Care and Research Centre celebrated the Glorious 52nd National Day, where SQCCCRC’s administration, medical team and employees participated in the celebrations and extended their sincere appreciation and best wishes to His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik and the people of Oman on the occasion. 

The highlights of the 52nd National Day celebrations included podcasting Omani songs, and an Omani crafts exhibition featuring the sultanate tradition, culture and ancient civilization. It enthralled all employees while showcasing the Sultanate’s vibrant heritage and culture and offering an opportunity to non-Omani employee to try the traditional Omani dresses. A traditional Omani cuisine was also served to those gathered for the festivities where tradition Omani cuisine like Rakhal bread, Luqaimat and Omani halwa, were featured in many stations, with all enjoying the celebrations. 

The stations are organized with a participation of various departments at SQCCCRC including Nursing, Sterilization, Laboratories, Holistic care, Medical equipment engineering, Finance and Internal Audit, Pharmacy, Nutrition and Dietetics, and Food and Beverage services department.
