Dr Khulood Al Riyami, Nuclear medicine consultant at the Department of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine said: “This machine is characterised by its technology that allows reduction of scanning time and injected doses to increase productivity in addition to improving the quality of images.
Medical Physicist, Naema Al Maimani, stated: “We are proud to participate in imaging the first patient through quality control checks to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the device and to provide the team with necessary tools to complete this work.”
