TREATMENT PROGRAMS

Head, Neck and Thoracic Cancers Program

The Head, Neck and Thoracic Cancers Program at SQCCCRC provides comprehensive clinical care for patients who are diagnosed with or suspected of having any type the following cancers:

Head and Neck including Oral Cavity Cancer, Sinonasal Cancer, Pharyngeal Cancer, Thyroid Cancer, Salivary Cancer, Brain Cancer, Spine Cancer and others.

Thoracic malignancies including Lung Cancer, Pleural Cancer (mesothelioma), Thymic Cancer, Tung neuroendocrine carcinoma, and other rare cancer.

When patients visit the centre, the multidisciplinary team consists of professional staff in the surgical, medical, radiological, rehabilitative and palliative treatments. The same team continues to provide care for the patient during the treatment journey.

The treatment services of the program are based on medical evidence and modern international guidelines for patients in the various treatment departments, including: outpatient clinics, day care, and inpatient wards.

In the program, the condition of each patient is accurately diagnosed and assessed to determine the appropriate treatment plan in the weekly MDT meeting.
